CHELSEA Surf Life Saving Club will receive $7800 and Edithvale Life Saving Club $3418 from this year's Community Safety Emergency Support Program.
Carrum MP Jenny Lindell said the Brumby Government funding would help Chelsea LSC buy an inflatable rescue boat and Edithvale LSC would install roller shutters and window tinting in its patrol observation room.
"A new rescue boat for Chelsea and improved visibility at Edithvale's patrol observation room will boost their response capacities so that they can continue their vital work."
