MT Eliza proved that the 2010 MPNFL Peninsula Division season is wide open after beating Karingal convincingly on Saturday.
The Mounties dominated the clearances and smashed Karingal from half-back, setting up a 17.17(119) to 12.11(83) win.
The Mounties were also able to make the most of their forward entries, scoring on almost every occasion they went inside the danger zone.
The Bulls seemed to be flat and one-paced, beaten to most one-on-one contests and struggling to get any momentum.
For the second week in succession, Lyle House was the dominant big man on the ground, consistently belting the ball to advantage.
Mark Pendlebury, Darren Booth, James Clayton and Dan Gormley controlled the midfield and Grant Masterson with three goals was lively. David Hirst with four goals was Karingal's best, along with Cal Dixon.
Seaford is now a game clear in fourth place after coming home strongly against Langwarrin at Lloyd Park. In a tight match all afternoon that had the Tigers lead by just nine points at the last change, they were able to boot five goals to one in the last to record a 29-point win. Luke Smith was electric for the Tigers.
Bonbeach went toe to toe with Mornington in a high-scoring match on Saturday and won by 21 points.
